I love it. Hallelujah is my first blues song and I grew up with the blues.
What inspired you to write this song?
I had written a lot of songs about politics, sadness, anger and joy but none about falling in love.
What is your favourite part of the song?
Favourite line: “I’m astounded by the way that you make me feel so alive”
Why: In starting this new relationship I felt alive!!!
What is the intention with “Hallelujah”?
Its to make people feel sexy. Couples mainly.!
Where were you when this song came about and what where you up-to?
I was in my car, driving back from spending the first weekend with my boyfriend at the time.
